Quiet 02:01
No, you don't understand: A quiet place is dangerous. A quiet place is hollow. On days when the world is dulled, when the birds sing strange drones and echoes it may whisper to you. A quiet place, with its quiet words, may send you to your grave or at least that's what they used to tell me; I never understood what they meant. Not until colour failed me my sight blurred by a misshapen lens of reflection and that day I heard the call to forget, to forgo and fall from my station. To cocoon myself in swathes of cotton and wait in that empty warmth until an eternity had passed, until the light returned to the world. A quiet place is dangerous. I do hope you never understand.
